ICG has designed but not yet built a 30,000 s/f, two story, 40 unit assisted living facility.

The project is on hold seeking a Joint Venture Partner who is experienced in operating an assisted living facility. The site is owned by ICG component company and lacks only structuring an operating agreement with an appropriate facility operator under a lease / purchase agreement.
Juvenile Delinquent / Combined Facility: ICG component company WCR designed and built a 2,720 s/f modular building for the California Youth Authority facility in Crescent City, CA.
Scope: The building floors and walls were built in modular fashion in WCR’s Sacramento facility then crane set in place on a concrete perimeter foundation. The roof system was standard wood trusses installed on site by youths at the correctional facility under the direction of Correctional Facility Staff Members. (See photo gallery).
Solution / Benefit: The site is a remote site, buildable only during the summer dry season. In the winter / rainy season the dirt road to the site is impassable except for 4 wheel drive vehicles. It was desirable to complete the project within the short building period allowed by the weather. The client also desired to structure the project so that the project could be used as an "Apprentice Carpenter Training Program" for the youths at the facility that aspired to such a future means of employment. The project accomplished both goals and was completed in 1999 on time and within budget.
