More
and more municipalities and public school officials are learning about
the value of planning and building joint use facilities.
Where "community service" type facilities such as child day
care / libraries / schools / adult educational facilities and recreational
facilities can be combined on one site, it makes eminent sense to do so.
ICG is dedicated to working with cities / county officials and school
officials at all levels appropriate to plan, engineer and build such dual
/ multiple use facilities wherever possible.
The ICG Team in this regard is headed by the ICG Executive Vice President,
Bruce Pope. Bruce
specializes in structuring joint public / private partnership transactions.
He is especially knowledgeable in such matters -- having served for several
years as the Director of the Redevelopment Agency for both the City and
County of Sacramento.
ICG is currently in the "Design / Engineering" phase in four
projects that embody this "multiple use" concept. Three projects
combine a Charter School, Child Day Care Center and Adult Training Facility.
One Project combines a Community Library facility with a Child Day Care
Facility.
